Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else outside of the United Kingdom, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

Shipping And Handling

All UK orders received before 3pm Monday to Friday will be despatched same day by First Class mail or by courier and should be with you next day (except Friday when deliveries will be made on Monday). All European orders will take between 2 – 4 working days and orders to the Rest of the World will take up to 10 working days for delivery depending on country. Should you require a more accurate estimate, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Postage is calculated based on the total weight of your item(s). An accurate postage calculation will appear on your final invoice.

All European orders over £50 and up to 2kgs include an extra £3.50 charge for Royal Mail’s International Sign For service, which means your parcel will have to be signed for upon delivery. Please make sure the address that you provide will be manned otherwise successful delivery will not occur.

Back Orders

If an item is out of stock:

• We will back order it for you, and send the outstanding goods as soon as possible.
• You will always be contacted with the option to cancel out of stock items if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. Orders placed by companies based within the European Union and who have a valid EU VAT registration number are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Since August 2007, we have also been using further online security measures brought to us by Visa and Mastercard. The new additional security measures are called Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode. Please do not be alarmed if you are asked for additional security information during the checkout process. This is not a ‘phishing’ page but part of our attempts to reduce fraudulent transactions on our site. Since instigating this additional measure, fraudulent transactions have been reduced to nil.

Guarantee

Pooleys have made every effort to ensure that products are of the highest quality and value to the customer. Goods are not supplied on a trial basis, so please check compatibility prior to making a purchase.

All Pooleys manufactured products carry a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Guarantees vary on other products but details will be provided. All products supplied come with a 12 month guarentee. Should you have any questions regarding the guarantee period, please contact us prior to ordering your items.
