NOTE Some questions in this section will ask you what will happen in theory. Here we refer to the Norwegian theory of fronts as outlined in the main text. Yet real world frontal systems do not always follow the Norwegian theory, indeed the theory of fronts and airmasses itself has moved on considerably since the Norwegian model was developed. As a pilot do not always assume the weather will follow theory, practically, this is why weather forecasts and observations are so important for any given flight on any given day.
